Aquatic Boogie
This is a very groovy track, wouldn't be out of place on a JJ
Cale album. Real nice.

Thanks Rovert. I'm a Cale fan too but wouldn't have thought he'd be an
influence on this one. However, now that you mention it, I'll bet Clyde was in
the back of my mind when I came up with this.

Cool
and interesting. Reminded me of LA Woman by The Doors
in spots... cool to me, they were one of my favorite bands
growing up. Well done tune, only criticism is the horns...
they just sounded a little cheesy to me. Just a matter of
the sound, not the placement.

Nice song!

Cool
AC,

Thanks again. And the Doors influence, while unintended, is probably no
accident. I hadn't noticed until I played it for a couple of jam buddies who
started screaming "Jeem, Jeem," when the CD finished. But nobody will believe
me that I never thought of it until after the fact. Oh well, let it roll, baby, roll.

As for the horns, yeah, you're right. Attack of loopitis I'm guessing. Wanted to
build as the song progressed with keyboards coming in in the second verse
and horns in the third. But when something just doesn't work, it just doesn't
work. Perhaps I'll just think on it and wait for the ever-elusive burst of
creative inspiration.
cheers

Bit less processing?
This is a cool song, solid boogie rhythm and all, but with
all the reverb it sounds like it's coming from the next
room. That would in fact not be all that bad if it weren't
for the horns which are very up front. Still a cool song,
though.

Nice
Song has a nice hypnotic groove. Lyrics make you think. I
like everything about this song except the first few
seconds which seem unedited, and the horn loops.
