Description
Finalish version of my new concerto. Me on piano/strings/composition/production. Volker Friedel on harpsichords. This has my new third piano movement which is a bit Debussy to answer the first harpsichord movement which is a bit Bach Brandenburg. The middle is a slow cello ride of peace between the two. 2nd Movement is at 2:00, 3rd is at 3:30 if you want to skip ahead. Enjoy let me know what you think it's not fully complete yet, still have a few mistakes on purpose that I'm thinking of removing.

First impressions
while listening...
Reverb - less would help follow the counterpoint. When it gets busy, everything mushes together.
The harpsichord's complex rhythm contrasts well with the legato strings. Maybe some separation in pitch would add interest, though that could just be reverb. Nice counter-rhythms going in the third movement.
I'll be interested to hear it if you post a revised mix. This would be great fun to hear performed live.

Yes
The reverb I was messing with for awhile and it's a bit too much for something so fast. Still learning how to do post prod and vst's in Live, will probably remove them all and just do them right in my old software. Thanks.

Drakonus
The first 2 parts were nice, but that third movement really shines through. Just one thing, it is probably intentional, but still the ending feels a bit unexpected. Maybe add a short coda? Anyway, I'm quite moved by this grand piece. Bravo!

Good call Myst
I was going to add a more proper ending but didn't want to make the song too long. You are right though. I can get rid of some of the cellos in the 2nd movement probably to shorten it and speed things up. -Chris

Fast and furious
it is and a grand accomplishment too.
Yes the mix could be improved but well done.
Cheers,
Charlie

Thanks Charlie
I'm a moron and used an electronica reverb instead of a concert hall one, fixing it and improvising a proper ending.
