Description
Golliwog's Cakewalk is part of Claude Debussy's suite "Children's Corner" published in 1908. The middle section of this cakewalk is jokingly interrupted on occasions by quotations of the opening of Richard Wagner's opera Tristan und Isolde, marked "avec une grande emotion". Each quotation is followed by a musical chuckle in staccato chords.

Orchestrated and arranged from piano MIDI.
Fl├╝gelhorn solo
Photograph: Debussy & daughter having a picnic.

Tremendous
I really love Debussy's stuff you know. He was so way ahead of his time. Maybe I'll have a go at this one too at some point. Great work Scotty.

Playful Claude.
Each part lovingly constructed.
Love your pacing.
As always a treat.

Golliwog's Cakewalk
Although I suspect he might have chosen a different title if he were writing today, this remains beautiful music, beautifully played. Much enjoyed.

Piece of cake
You make it sound so effortless! I like the playful stereo echoes from violas to celli. A fine addition to the MidiOrleans opus.
