Description
This track is from earlier this year and the photo is from a recent trip to Iceland, after a small concert tour with friends. Something magical about that place. Life is so much nicer with a little mystery...

Really thought 'Cherish' would be my last post:) Glad we're still here.

Thank you, Pari
Glad YOU are still here! This has to be my favourite MJ post for ages. Really uplifting, mysterious, magical, stunning, gorgeous... Very dynamic and "full" sound in all registers, great mix, no audio issues now, that I can hear... Great thanks for the download :-)

Unfortunately I can't see the photo. I have still not been to Iceland, even if we have talked about going many years ago. Maybe one day...

Thanks again and take care,
Henrik

Thanks Henrik, your words mean a lot! And you absolutely have to go to Iceland. The photo doesn't upload (repeated error) but I'm sure you would be just as impressed as I was and am, every time I am able to visit. All the best!

Wow, really nice. Cinematic, filled with emotions. Especially the sense of "hope" comes to mind (which it often does when I listen to your music).

Iceland...
I've never been there, but my imagination tells me that you have captured the peacefulness of the place and it majesty. You make such BIG sounds with these rich chords blooming in such a slow tempo. It's almost like time-lapse photography in sound. Your music always possesses a carefully-considered orchestration and focus. This one is just a beautiful picture in sound. So much enjoyed.

peace
Visiting Iceland does leave an imprint, and peacefulness is one of the qualities the country has in a subtle way that is hard to describe in words. Thankfully there is music. Thanks for your always inspiring and encouraging comments!

I love the way this builds and develops, just as the title suggests it might. Very sophisticated work, even though the ingredients are simple. I hope you're proud of this, it's a very good piece, and thanks for the download!

Excellent
This is fantastic! The patient emergence and delicate harmony of the intro beautifully utilized both sound and silence to evoke--for me at least--a feeling of space and lonely distance. When the rhythmic, more percussive patterns came in, they were neither too bold nor too subtle. This is certainly a blooming evolution, and I really enjoyed it; good work!

The class of your music and production shines through from the outset, Pari. We are fortunate that MJ is just managing to keep its head above water so we can have access to music as captivating and complete as this. Many thanks, Peter.

unhurried pulse to this that’s so seductive. The details and choice of sounds make this very pleasurable.

Clearly you were inspired by your visit!!
Icy cold tones breathe through a warm arrangement. Kind of like being inside watching the snow squalls fill the air. I love how you bring forth the rhythm section in parts only to allow the wonder of the audio space to take centre stage. The entry of the marcato string-synths pulls the whole arrangement to a more modern classical feel yet the electronic nature of your palette keeps things in that non-orchestral domain.

This is lovely Pari. Complete and satisfying just as it is - each element no matter how small is in its place. Thanks so much for the download!

BTW, Iceland seems very cool. More of my friends are talking about either having visited or planning to go. It's on my list.
