Description
I kinda wanted to make a patriotic song. It isn't quite finished though, I just wanted to get some input from people before I finish it.

I hear the patriotic elements
Very nicely done. This song reminds me of the movie "the Patriot" I can totally see this song in that movie *smiles*. I noticed the brass just a hair behind the drums in one section but not really noticeable if you aren't looking for it. I would like to hear this extended. The second part of the song I enjoyed the most, it made me almost want to hum it around the house. Little more development and this song would be a nice addition from you. Great ideas, keep em coming!

Very Good!
hi BranDaMan! It sounds very neat! very dramatic. and the
first part and the second part are matching very well;)

thanks for sharing! i enjoyed listening to it.

#i think i'm a bit greedy, but i thought if you add one
more part in this song, the song will sounds greater.

more please
I think this is a really nice piece, but as said before, I think it could be grand if it were longer. Maybe a reprise of the first section? (my two cents)

I also agree that the brass does seem behind at times, or maybe coming in too early. Just not really sure. Are you changing meter at some points, it was hard to tell because of the brass timing issue.

The brass on the second section is very well done. In fact, I was suitably impressed with the end result. How did you do that trumpet "trill" at the end? On a keyboard? That would be some fast fingers!

Good work.

snare hit a snag...
As always, it is really hard to "humanize" the MIDI snare's
rat-a-tat beat, it sounds too mechanical here... and
unfortunately that precision detracts from the overall
piece (for me, at least). You may want to do very minor
changes to the velocity and timing of the snare hits to
make it sound like a person played it. The melody and
horn orchestration behind it are great, however. The
reverb added is perfect, giving a warm presence to the
ensemble. And the overall feeling is of pride, though not
too outspoken, which again seems perfect. I look forward
to seeing how you put the finishing touches on this, and
yes, I too would like to see the theme developed a little
more to make it a little longer. Good job, AGAIN! :-)
