And good tempo/dynamics I liked it! Fun high-adrenaline melody, which you let flow between different instruments. What I liked best was near the middle where you let the strings slowly breathe in and out, and then had the frenetic melody reappear here and there. It gave the feeling of resting, but still having this irrepressible drive to get up and continue the fight. I agree with awtood that the ending wasn't quite right... it needed to build to a climax and end on a crashing chord, or it needed to slow back into the breathing strings, and end on a slow string chord. Very good work... my 16 year old RPG-gamer son would like this too :-) ttfn, Drakonis Check out my latest song called Lullaby for the Inner Child

And good tempo/dynamics Yes, my son has played with Harmony Assistant some (actually dragging notes onto a staff), and a little with GarageBand (which got him very excited)... but he hasn't got a Mac of his own yet. I'm a devious parent... I'll show him your work, and maybe he'll get so excited he'll crave a MacNugget (Mac Mini) with iLife enough that he'll actually want to get a... job... this summer, bwahaha. ttfn, Drakonis --- deja vu, it's the next best thing to being there Check out my latest song called Lullaby for the Inner Child

Good utilization of loops Segments are sounding good WH. Especially the mid section adagio where the mood changes. Try maybe adding a longer mid section with a subtle brass instrument unaccompanied. The additional percussion is very effective adding to the excitement and energy of the piece. Keep em coming. Patrick Check out my latest song called The Hour - Knossos (Live Practice)

Very RPG I can see waht Drakoni means about the RPG feeling. It is very dramatic and pacy, like the soundtrack one would expect on a combat or roleplaying game. I'm only 14, and I do like it! Check out my latest song called Vines

Love the percussion! The snare was a very good contribution to the feel, and then the toms kicked in and it BLEW ME AWAY! I'm a percussionist I know what I'm talking about lol. When you had the brass doing the sort of epic thing and then the flute played the same melody, was that the same loop on different instuments, or two different loops?? very spirited, exciting piece. Like the return to opening
theme and variations on it. Also how you let the
percussion carry things alone for a few measures.
Excellent dynamics in the more thoughtful middle section,
before the drums come back to take over. The faded
ending is a bit of a letdown...why not end with a crash of
cymbals and thunder?
