Description:
Remember that first embrace? Remember that first dance when you caught eyes with her from across the room and prayed for a slow song, so that you could hold her close and wish for time to stand still and have the song never end.....

It's what came to mind as I layed down this simple background. I would like to offer to have some collaberative effort on it. If you can relate and would like to add to it I would love to have your help and glady listen to your input.

Lyrics:
Words just get in the way sometimes.

Solid beginning &mdash 03/24/05 - 10:21:18 AM
Very solid jazz pop chart. It would work well for a pop
vocalist. In my ears, the track needs a lead instrument or
something more to break out and create more personality.
But you have a solid accompanying bed started. Love the
photo, by the way.

Thanks for listening. I agree that there needs to be more work done to give
this a real personality.

Don't Even Mess With it One Bit &mdash 03/25/05 - 01:08:42 PM
Great piece. I really like the piano chords that you have
written, very modern sounding. Love the lydian mode that
is in your harmonies and the bass line is really good about
accompanying this modern jazz fusion if you wanna call it
something, style. I say that it needs no more, because it
is really nice to have music that also serves the purpose as
a background or second stage event. This song, to me,
seems well suited for this such purpose. I like the way
that it is non intrusive, and I think that if you add a solo
instrumental over the top that might defeat this ambient
side of your song.

Brilliant Writing Techiniques!!

Good pop &mdash 04/15/05 - 10:00:51 PM
Great pop sensibility. Reminds me of Burt Bacharach. I
like the space between phrases.

The beginning of something... &mdash 04/22/05 - 12:06:23 AM
You so captured the essence of that photo. I could really hear someone crooning over this...I think I'm hearing Petula Clark. Is she available?

Thank you Margritte....story of my life......A constant journey of abandoned
beginnings.....WOW If only you knew the depth of that statement.....I think I
just scared myself.

DAMN. That was difficult. And I'm STILL not happy with it.

Here ya go anyhow, swanny. Sorry if it's too Kenny Gish.

Actually, after listening to it again, I'm realizing that the mix on it is bad. I'm going to have to go redo it.
