A Swan Song

In the event I get struck by lightning any time soon, I don't want my last song posted to be about a necrophiliac who prefers wearing women's underwear (http://www.macjams.com/song/82952).

I thought this piece conveyed a certain amount of emotion so I edited together some youtube clips to accompany this and I'm pretty happy with the results. I will try to add an embedded and regular link below if anyone wants to check it out:

I sometimes think I need to write something that will be played at my funeral. I'll take your lovely track as inspiration.

This is quite moving...
Very emotional piano composition well played. Judicious use of strings for support. Nice clean production. A fine offering indeed.

If you get struck by lightning any time soon I promise I will remember you by this piece! :-)

Be well friend!

As Mike said, good composition well played. And a sweet idea to leave behind a funeral piece, though folks might wonder what's going on in your coffin ;-)

Hey Jay, this is a different side of you. Lovely piece. It does have that "end of a sad movie" or "one true love walking away forever" feel. Nice arrangement. Fine, emotive playing. Thanks.

beautiful...... I too have wondered which of my songs I'd like played. I've threatened my whole family that my last wish will be that they have to sit and listen to ALL my songs as pay back for their dis-interest in anything I've done ha ha. Cheers, M

Very nice.

Nobody is going to want to hear my music, which is why I'm not planning to attend my funeral.

Appropriately dressed!
Sorry it took me four months to get to this, but I am glad I found it this morning. Such a gentle little piece that makes no pretense and just is what it is, speaking with care and loveliness. Such a sweet little serenade that is so nicely played.
