Description
Found 2/3 of this in a pile of scribbles dated Jan. 2007. Thought it deserved to be finished. And since I haven't written anything for piano since maybe Jan. 2017, I figured I'd give this a try. If you are interested, you can find the score here: http//www.paulpage.o/...

Beautifully played, Paul. As always, there is delightful light and shade in your playing of this happy tune.

Don't
shoot me, but because the chords are so appealing, I could hear this stripped down and made into a power ballad by some female artist. Probably not Madonna, though.

Subtle!
I had to listen to this three times just to take it all in. There is so much detail packed into the four minutes fourteen seconds that one listen couldn't do it justice. The subtle and relaxed joy of this is most unusual, it isn't bouncing with delight or overflowing with anything, it is just relaxed and content. A very difficult thing to pull off, and I suspect it's a combination of the technical content of the tune and the way it is played. One to be studied when I get back to my studies, so thanks for the download and the score.

I think Sam has a point there. Ladies? Another lovely piece, Paul.

Gentle swing
with a bit of Bach here, Mendelssohn there, a hint of Fur Elise... and all P.F.Page. It's good to look thru those unfinished pieces from time to time. Sometimes the part that had you stumped seems plain on the return.
Took a copy. Thanks.

And counting
You're amassing an impressive oevre of piano here. I particularly like this one. It has an appealing mix of melodies and (arpeggiated) chordal passages. Particularly nifty is just before the 2:00 mark and around the 3:15 mark the downward arpeggios with an upward harmonic feel.

I think Fire_Angel covers my thoughts, too, "relaxed and contented"! Quietly confident springs to mind, as well. You have enviable composition and playing skills, Paul. This is lovely. Thank you.

A lovely romantic tinged offering.
Love it when you dipped into Ludwig's turf then shift into a more contemporary sound. It all works splendidly. A great listen Paul.
Cheers,
Charlie

Finally got to listen, Paul...
As I've mentioned before, I'm out of superlatives, but I love the vibe of the this, the tone of this, and the phrasing...it's simply lovely...

And you wouldn't think it...
...but I appreciate your ability to have 'dynamics' in a piece of music that doesn't go from 'super-soft' to 'super-loud'...this has the 'dynamics' of a living, breathing, intelligent and feelingful human being breathing and living while playing from heart and mind...
