I think I've heard this before
Did you post an early version of this with no vocals
somewhere before. I know I've heard the music before
but I don't recal the vocals. Anyway, it's a great
progression and sound. The vocals are too buried in the
music though to be able to understand. If you can bring
them forward I think it would help. Very cool mood with
this.

Excellent Textures
Very good moody, atmospheric music. I'm treating the
voice as another texture here rather than trying to discern
the story - but if you want folks to be able to hear the
words better, like Peter said above, you may want to remix
a little.

love it!
I thought the vocals were sort out up front in the mix, but
hard to decipher. I got the impression that was
intentional. Maybe I'm wrong, I thought this was very cool.

Interesting
After reading the comments below I'm not sure if the
vocal is mixed like this intentionally or not. While I'd like
to hear the words more clearly... or posted... the voice
pattern works pretty well as another instrument in the
overall mix. (Or another texture as Mungo described).

Very cool and interesting piece of music.

Here's the lyrics
The mix was intentional. Tried to create a swimming
feeling with the lyrics, so they wash over you...
The other constraint is that both Lili and I are singing
through the pin-hole mic of a Powerbook....that can't help
with vocal clarity!

I'm looking for a mind... for my mind,
lost it somewhere, somewhere I don't belong
I'm looking for a home
like a dog
swimming...
I'm looking for a mind, is it yours? is it mine?
where did I put it?
where did it go... swimming?
it is gone, it is gone...
never had it, never liked me, never did

waiting for my place, waiting for my time
looking everywhere
but it's gone... swimming

I'm alone... swimming
like before...
swimming with you...it's like swimming alone
swimming with you
it's like swimming... then drowning... then gone...
