Description
Written in an Open-D tuning. My first try writing music in something other than standard guitar tuning. Don't have a good mic or preamp for recording from my acoustic guitar so I had to sit on the desk next to my iMac and swivel the screen to be next to the guitar while playing. I really like this song, but think it still needs a little work: better recording, some sort of accompaniment... percussion or something.

Nice ideas in there
You have a lot of nice ideas in there.

There is a high string, it sounds like the E, but when it is
struck it sounds like it off key. If you have light gauged
strings you might want to get a medium string. I now just
started using light guaged but you might need to either
by a heavier gauged string or make sure that your tuning
is not too low.
Nice ideas in there and your playing seems to be pretty
good.

Open D door
You got me all interested in open D tuning now. I've
played around with open C and open Emin. It's amazing
how different tuning can transform your guitar. Good
picking here. Mellow and satisfying.

Hisssss
Playing was fine if distracting. Try a better mic or at least
the reduce hiss option in GB.

Decent cut. I always want lyrics with a song like this. Few
guitar tracks stand on their own (my bias),

I've been playing guitar for about 11 years. Never played seriously enough to be in a band, let alone practiced enough to be really good... I just pick it up and fool around here and there. I love to play, it's relaxing, it's fun, it's a good emotion... [see more]
