shreddin w/ sax yo had to look behind me while listening to some parts of this song. Just thought someone was behind me. Sent chills up my spine. Somebodies gotta work the graveyard shift rite. diggin that sax and how it swings from side to side and volume changes. So smooth Very cool transitions, playing and wonderful expressiveness and articulations. So smooth. Nice level and layering, drum choices, etc. the lead sax is too hot on my system, creeping past the edge of distortion and rubbing up against it too often. But a sweet track otherwise. So smooth Thank you! I'll check on the distortion; however, the "ZZ" sound is indeed very edgy, this is what Vandoren even advertize, it almost sounds like chorus in real life. sax patch Being a sax player, I can dig the overdubbing of the saxes in the background- not an easy task to say the least if you did it the old school way (if you pitch shifted and copied, well :p) Sax has a tendency to distort easily with micing in a home studio, I have the same problem. The effect at the beginning are cool; the sax soli is on the edge of distortion too. Overall this is a pretty cool tune... |
