Description:
I had this music in my head, like from an old italian movie. It was
this image of a green landscape, an old man walking a bycicle and
children running after a ball rolling down the winded streets of a
little village...

This has been composed with such a grace. I love the waltz like feel...very joyful. Nice use of woodwinds as well. I enjoyed this very much:)

Thank you. It was born yesterday and I thought I should let it rest for half a
week and see if I still like it or want to change something. But it only grew on
me. I made slight additions and arrangement changes last night, just before I
went to bed with that image of an italy of the fifties in my mind. I wrote this
for a woman I like very much. She's not italian, but I think she'll love it
regardless.

Thanks for sharing.
Liked the rhythm, nice to hear JP Stuff.

Thanks for making it available for people to hear. Good
luck to you in future uses of it as well.

I don't get if you are giving a compliment or if you're saying I plagiated music.
The truth is, I got this jam pack 4 with classical instruments I was never able
to use because it requires 10 gigs of free space. Last week the data structure
of my Powerbook got corrupted. After fighting at first to get my data back I
went back to an older backup version and restored most of it. So I had more
space and was finally able to install this jam pack. And it's amazing in quality.
It puts real sounding ensebles at your hand.

I composed this piece from scratch. Not a single loop, part, melody section
has been copied or taken from anywhere. The music grew like a plant, it was
almost like modeling a sculpture from the inside out. I had so much fun
doing this and I will definitely do more like it in the future. I feel there is great
potential with classical instruments I had not played with yet.

I don't think the tiler was suggesting you plagiarized this. It's a delightful
piece of music. Would fit in a Fellini film. Or Truffaut's "Small Change."
Thanks for posting it.

I can conjure up the images as you describe. A very
gentle and imaginative track Core.
I love the rythym of the strings that keep it flowing
throughout.
yes, a good peice for a film..

Delightful &mdash 04/01/05 - 10:28:12 PM

I love the playfulness and innocence of this piece. I
portrays so well the scene you have described.

Delightful. Thank you!

Thank you too. After all my previous electronica I felt it was time to do
something different. I guess not having a concept or idea, just a feeling for
something warm and innocent is not a bad way to start with something like
that. It can not be constructed like electronica. Everything else comes by
playing when you listen for it.

what a cute piece! &mdash 04/02/05 - 12:51:13 AM
sounds of children playing might be a nice little enhancer.
I found the shift between sections somewhat abrubt, but
it's still cute!

Thanks for sharing your music with us.

Don't hold onto that one scenery. It was just an eye opener for how music can
evoke images in your mind. I know you all know that, I just wanted to show
you something. There are so many other scenes that would match. An old
couple dancing contented aside of a wedding. An old little boat on a channel
passing under a little bridge shaped like a bow while ducks are taking off in a
rush. A young couple falling into high gras under a hill, kissing for the first
time... I think my next piece will be a bit darker again and less romantic. Or is
it the spring I'm feeling? ;)

Pretty... short &mdash 05/22/05 - 03:03:22 PM
Nice gentle melody, well orchestrated. It's finished before
it should be, though, it feels like you should develop this
more (which is good, it means I like it so far!)
