Your G String is showing
Bad joke, couldn't resist.

Wonderful job on a very difficult piece. And again, this is a
very clear recording. Your handmade guitar sounds great.
(Why not put up a picture of it instead of old sourpuss?)

Your G String is showing
Just had to change it. It is a little more airy now :)

lonely/lovely
The simplicity of plucked notes and the way the
sound filled the space was solemn and seemed a
little lonely... I imagine a guitarist during
Bach's time playing this in a large, dark room.
Lovely.

lonely/lovely
When I hear Christopher Parkening play this, is just breath taking.

But I try the best I can. If it stays in the 6's I might re-due it.

Thanks

Trilling
Very nicely articulated. Loved the trills. A peaceful play
performed without sentimentality. I think the guy himself
would have smiled. And it is so cool that you make your
own guitars.

Trilling
It is fun to play real catchy Bach pieces. The trills sure seem to add that older
flavor.

Thanks Tobin

Great piece indeed
You play this so well. I wish I could play guitar like that.
It's nice to hear something on your classical guitar again.
Love the tone.

Great rendition
The polar opposite of my piece that you commented on. :-) I can't believe you made your own guitar! I also vote for a picture of it. The sound is lovely and serves the piece so well.

Great rendition
I did make it. I have not made classical or acoustic guitars for a while. But
there was a time when I got really into it.

Even Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers band when he was dating my
tenant played the guitar. He liked it. I know it's not top of the line but I tried
my best.

So Pleasant
Thanks for sharing this pleasant
music. The guitar sounds earthy and good
for baroque music.

Beautiful
Once again, I am deeply moved by your playing. The scores do not
accurately reflect the quality of this submission, IMHO. 9-9-9-9

The voting back then was pretty tight, eh...I added a bit of modern day splash to it to spice it up...

Great arrangement of a truly wonderful piece, Bill...and I'm real impressed with that guitar...I want one...
