Description:
This is one song from a collection my friend, Jordan, and I have called, "Dean Street." It's our "virtual" album and has been so for years. Maybe it'll get legs in cyberspace. Drum loops are Apple's. Oh, and thank goodness for Dent Du Midi! I brought most of the tracks in using that and Finale. I'll probably do another version with better vocals.Lyrics:
The plants are wakingStretching, aching as the sun comes up I clear away the dust and dirt from my coffee cup The bed is warm But you’re so cold and old is what I’m feeling Fair is fair but you’re not there when I need you I’m sore, you’re bored, And I just can’t get out You’ve locked the door I stop and stare, The room is bare of the warmth which you once gave it My eyes are numb, my brain is dumb to your holding The phone it rings And silly things just fly right through my ears Fair is fair, but you’re not there when i need you I’m sore, you’re bored, And I just can’t get out You’ve locked the door I don’t know why I set myself up Just to have you knock me down You play your games behind my back I’m just your clown I’ve just to turn around turn around turn around The moon is rising It’s not surprising you’re still lost and found I turn another page around in your open book The words are there But I can’t bear to be your silent burden Fair is fair, but where, oh where, did I lose you I’m sore, you’re bored, And I just can’t get out You’ve locked the door Hardware:
