Well Done &mdash 04/01/05 - 08:42:09 AM
Sounded quite nice through my stereo system and Bose
system. With a good mic it would have been outstanding. I
really like your guitar tones. Was that an acoustic guitar?
What software settings did you use on that?

Well Done &mdash 04/01/05 - 10:49:38 AM
thanks there..
its an accoustic guitar..by the name of ELITE made in taiwan..
nice tone..
well for the setting...i have actually recorded 2 tracks for the basic
plucking...both panned to the extreme right and left..basic reverb and flanger
1 more track is on the accoustic solo...subtle at the beginning of the
track...and clear at the end of the song..
the other track is accoustic trying to sound like electric...using delay, amp,
and i forgot what..sorry...

and i guess the timing is a bit off here n there..
its one off attempt..

incredible piece &mdash 04/01/05 - 12:36:50 PM
In a way, it reminds me of Tom Buchmann (Bronco, see
above). Some of his stuff, like yours, is very rough, sounds
almost primitive, and yet has an authenticity most of us
cannot touch. This is a great song, excellent guitar,
excellent vocals. My only suggestion would be to come
back to the verse at the end instead of fading out on that
delightful guitar.

FYI, you checked 'explicit' when filling out the song
description. You can fix that by editing the description
and unchecking it. Also, you have this listed as a 'share
alike' under the license agreement, which means anybody
can alter it, I think. You might want to change that, too.

Again, a beautiful song.

Beautiful &mdash 04/04/05 - 05:14:24 PM
Yes your vocals are a little to quiet on this, but one can
hear what you are singing which is good.
I love the guitar. esp the solo.. is that you playing?
I think with a little tweaking on the production ( esp
vocals) then this will be quite outstanding..
very nice track Wautz..

thank you..
yes powerbook built in mic carry a lot of noise, noise gate wont help. Yes, all the guitar tracks are played with the same guitar.., i know the timing are off here and there....i am just not very good with timing..
i hope to have the time to sketch more songs..

very nice and subtle &mdash 04/04/05 - 05:31:37 PM
Though this is a bit rough in production it is a lovely song
and very well performed. Such a delicate melody that has
just the right touch. Some great guitar solo playing too.
The simple lyrics tell it all and go very well with the music.

Heartfelt &mdash 04/10/05 - 11:26:52 PM
The beautiful guitar and soft, sincere vocals are lovely. I
don't pay a lot of attention to production quality, so your
built-in didn't bother me. You could increase the volume
on your vocals just a touch, so they'd be easier to
understand, but otherwise, I thought it was a wonderful
song.

A lot to like here &mdash 04/16/05 - 12:12:27 PM
Beautiful song first of all. While there are a few technical
issues all the components are in place for this to be a very
powerful composition as well. In other words, I think it
would be well worth the time and effort involved to fix the
technical production.

Thanks for posting! Look forward to seeing this
developed!

Nice acoustic soundscape &mdash 04/20/05 - 10:59:49 AM
very nicely arranged, played and sung. This song has
such a unique sound quality to it....not that polished
sound as one would expect..but that is what makes it so
cool..so real. Very well done!

refreshing. The guitar's great! I like what you're doing very
much!

powerfully eloquent &mdash 04/26/05 - 02:40:20 PM
Very concise powerful sentiments, beautifully floated on a
soft well-played guitar bed... I like this. I agree that you
should revisit this and polish it up, the problems are only
technical, not conceptual... it needs to be a little less
muddy sounding, cleaner recording of your vocals, and
this would be incredible.
