Lyrics:
She looks so perfectly wounded
kind of classy
like an umbrella drink
downtown dirty
like a doctors glove
kinda puffy kinda pink

I hear she lives above the city
near a river of song
stalking like an eagle
dressing like a dove
impervious impecable
scavenging on love

the eagle flys but never nests
the dove sleeps nervously
under it
we all need a cliff
to live in
to hang onto
to hang onto

tonight she quotes poets
who have recently died
white wine and fingerprints
in blackberry pie
gestures like the waterfall
so high above the world
where someone left her
perfectly wounded

the hunger
sweats away the night
the river seems to sing
just find a cliff
tuck away those wings
you can be
you can be
perfectly wounded

the eagle flys but never nests
the dove sleeps nervously
under it
we all need a cliff
to live in
to hang onto
to hang onto

Your voice is cool.
Like that low bass.
A unique sound for sure.
I hear a Cream influence.

Great, you don't use too many (or none at all) loops. Production could be better, but that's small criticism, at least you get a live feel!

loops &mdash 05/16/05 - 08:38:31 PM
Thanks. We use the loops as a writing or recording tool, but when all is said
and done, they're usually mixed out.

You can plainly hear a GarageBand loop in the middle of one of our other
songs, "Waiting."
