Cupid's creation
This sounds as if you are floating around on cloud nine. Nicely arranged, very well produced...you have a great ear! I am happy you have found such gratifying inspiration.

really enjoyed this tune
I am playing the second time around.

Just fabulous. I like hearing different ideas you have in
there. Very dream like in a very wonderful way.
3/4 of the way you really pull off some very, very
inspirational piano indeed. I think you probably know the
part.

Thanks so much for this outstanding tune!

really enjoyed this tune
Thanks Bill. This is one of the most spontaneously written songs I've done,
and that particular part was recorded once and really never edited or
adjusted. Pretty cool how that works out when it works in your favor. ;)

Really nice
Lots of great melodies in this. Soaring and passionate.
Everything sounds great to me except for the "tearing"
sound. The first few times I heard it I thought it was a
cool touch but it didn't take long before it just became
really distracting. I'd suggest more restraint on using that
sound. Save it for just a couple of transitional key
moments. Other than that it was a very elegant piece with
some very nice keyboard playing.

That's a great photo, by the way.

Really nice
Thanks for your comments. Your sentiments are shared by the person who
helped inspire this song. I think I will most likely take your keen advice and
revamp this song slighly before I upload it to my website and submit it to the
station that plays my other tune. Really appreciate your advice!

Really nice
Yeah. I loved the tearing sound the first time too, then it did become distracting.
The key to using cool samples is restraint.

I am hesitant to use an example of my own, but I'll do it anyway:

Note the electronic whirr sound introducing the drums in the second chorus.

worth the wait
beautiful tune, miss C. delicate complexity seems to be
your trademark. i wanted more volume on some of the
tracks here & there-seems like some good stuff might still
be buried in there a bit (altho, nothing that playing at high
volume can't help). really beautiful combination of synth
tracks

worth the wait
Thanks _nderscore. I always look forward to your comments and critiques. I
struggle sometimes with the EQ -- what sounds killer in my car or through
my subwoofer is sometimes a bit "hestitant" at lower volumes. Guess I'll just
have to continue to play everything loud! :)

Lulling and lovely...

What a beautiful and serene composition. So lovely.
Hard to find words that describe this sort of musical
'beauty.'

Thank you for sharing it here.

Lovely blend of...

musical sounds in this song. The repetitive melody line
is infectious. I found myself wanting the song to
continue on and on. Your synth orchestration and production ar top notch. Beautiful song.

New Age Ambience
Excellent soundscape. Very nice use of piano, you gave it
many colors and achieved very nice expressiveness. I'd
put this under Ambient Electronica; I always feel bad for

New Age Ambience
I think there's a preconceived notion about what constitutes an "ambient
electronica" song. I find it hard to catagorize my stuff, so I've asked the
admins to add "Progressive Electronica" genre. Problem is, I'd probably be the
only one in it, unless Moby decided to post a few older tunes here. :)
Thanks for the comment Tobin!

wonderful
Hey Slimmie! It's nice to know I've been missed. It's not so nice, however,
that I've fallen off the proverbial MacJams planet. I hope to be back often to
catch up. Thanks for stopping by to comment. Much appreciated. :)

Good to hear a new song from MissChaos !
This one sounds fresh and very optimistic (opti-
misschaos-tic !!)
I like the way the rythm parts enter
with the guitar. This is very uplifting... like the
beginning of a beautiful day...

and deeply considered, yet obviously flowing from a
very spontaneous, electric place.

All's well-
save for the scratchy sound which I thought was little
distracting from the beautiful music.

Great example of music borne of passion and emotion-
those feelings shine though here.

melodically mellow
This is a very pretty tune, in your usual haunting style,
emotional with a tinge of sorrow. I don't think it is your
best... (Momma Cries is still a high bar on my MissChaos
chart) but I think it is very moving and balances the
sparkling sunshine and the moody stormclouds, as you do
so well. Your use of synths and piano and percussion are
good. The soft backwards-sounding percussion was OK,
but I agree with others that the white-noise "wwwhit"
sound was a little loud and distracting. The floating wafty
synths were nice and dreamy. But the piano melody was
definitely the hilight of this piece... very nice!

Nothing chaotic about this...
...This is yet another masterful arrangement from one of
MacJams' best. Brilliantly executed. Your production is
flawless and your playing inspirational.

Can't wait to hear the tear-free version on the radio!

Beautiful Bits
Electronic music that blends acoustic elements is where
it's at, as far as I'm concerned. I think you have a knack
for pulling those two aspects into very listenable music.
The acoustic side of some electronic tunes sounds forced
or cheesey, and the electronic part of many cross-over
songs can sound the same way. But you manage to walk
the middle path oh so well. Thanks for making music.

As I progress .....
through my Miss Chaos Journey .... I feel compelled to comment (if only to prove I was actually here) .... this one had a lovely "soaring" quality to it ... pleasant to the ear ... now to find that OTHER one without the tearing sound ... although right now it didn't bother me.
