Lyrics
His New Position
I can get my legs behind my head
She said with joy
There is nothing to it
I've been doing it since l was four
He was quite intrigued by this
But declined a demonstration
He felt it inappropriate
For a man in his position
Couldn't wait till Thursday
Till he saw the girl again
His dreams were full of sportsware
And some girls from way back when
He was young and lusty
And his goals we different then
He fell in love with Evelyn
And a netball team from Devon
By the day of the appointment
He was trembling with fear
But he hadn't seen the sky so blue
For many many years
He asked her to repeat the show
She was happy to oblige
He wondered how to offer thanks
To a girl in that position
Couldn't concentrate at work
So he faked some RSI
Went back to the physio
To see the shapes she'd try
The letter came from high above
It stated very plain
His behaviour was inappropriate
For a man in his position
Her big hands will soothe your pain
In the dark days to come
Fitness will be your reward
Your health will shine for everyone
The office phone is silent now
His secretary cries
She'd loved him so for all these years
And now he'd passed her by
The businessman and physio
Slipped quietly away
He set up home in a seaside town
And took a new position
I can get my legs behind my head
She said with joy
There is nothing to it

Funny lyrics, good melody. The song works well and
kept my interest through to the end. One criticism; I
didn't like the abrupt change on the drums in the
middle 8. It's OK to change the rhythm, but need to
work on the transition or more appropriate rhythm.
Keep up the good work!
