Description:
This is one of the song that I composed for the film. I added the "bell" sound to make the song sounds more like the "soundtrack". Hope you enjoy it!

Another good 'soundtrack' from you, Jemimah. I am
hearing some distortion on my headphones, especially in
the 2nd half. Someone might have a suggestion for you.
Maybe it's in the conversion to mp3 (do you use LAME?),
or maybe you just have the levels up a bit to high?

p.s. my grandmother (who lived to be 100) was named
Jemimah. Good name!

Thanks Mr. Atwood! Maybe the rock guitar sounds was too loud and made
the distortion. and I'm using itunes to convert aif to the mp3. I think I will fix
it and upload the new one;)

thanks

- Jem

p.s. one of my friend called me "Aunt Jemima".

Like how you start off with the classical feel.
Then I hear the rock side. There is that guitar rock sound.
I hear a kind of high noon feel to the guitar twang. I like
that guitar twang. Sounds like early Clint Eastwood.

My one suggestion is get rid of the ending fade. It comes
in with a bang (Bell), so why end the song with a whimper?

Maybe a series of bells hitting faster? I don't know, but the
fade makes it seem like I'm listening to the song on the
iTMS.

I had distortion too, but it seemed to work for me. If
you're wanting it, you're set, if not, need to lower the
levels or something.

Nice transitions. Duality of style.

sounds like a cool flick &mdash 04/09/05 - 10:18:10 AM
a little mastering trick i've learned the hard way.. keep all
of your tracks at a lower level & increase on the master
track (or the main volume slider at bottom left). this will
help with the peaking of individual tracks. also try to
listen to it in quicktime before posting to see how it will
sound on macjams & adjust as needed

i'm diggin the bells-great add!
