I am really, really impressed that you take the time and
talk about life from your point of view. The great skill it
takes to learn to rap. I feel like i am watching a movie as i
am reading the words. To me it is a real treat to hear a
view from a culture not at all like mine.
Honest, I got a real kick from the church section. My mine
flips back about these stalwart black gospel ladies that
have to endure so much pain, and sticking close to the
bible. A real inspiration, though the meaning of the song
probably didn't really involve that.
I am not rapper, I don't listen to much rap.
But I miss reading stories like this here at MJ, with that
movie like quality. I am glad that you made it somewhat
readable for us non rappers that have not a clue as to the
slang that is used.
Hope this doesn't offend, and maybe I'll be the only one
that will say this, but I would love to read these words and
not have to see so much four letter stuff etc.
I am not saying I am perfect. Cause I know (I am not
proud) but I've let out some bad curse words).
But I would love to see a version that would make it more
fun (hope that is the right word) for people like me.
I think you have a lot to offer, to show your history. I think
it would be nice to reach people that wouldn't normally
want to hear rap.
Good going in reaching out here. Thanks so much for
sharing! You have a lot of talent for this.
