a large sound &mdash 04/09/05 - 08:59:03 AM
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of this genre, but you've
done a very good job with it. Lots of changes, dynamic,
heavy groove and it's unique enough to have held my
interest throughout. The syncopated synth towards the
end is fantastic. Good job. I like the ending.

I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but this is some of the
best in this category that I've heard on this site. Good job.
Keep it up!

Rebirth reborn in loops &mdash 04/18/05 - 10:21:33 AM
Man, you really get some cool grooves going, and you
keep your sounds well separated. Reminds of the stuff
that came out of the Rebirth app. Kind of just ends, giving
it a random feel that doesn't quite live up to the promise
of the earlier sections. Still, really good use of these
sounds.

Great use of the loops with excellent production - dont know how you do it - but wish I did

keep banging them out

Good stuff here. I really liked the piano stuff in the
middle. Also the breakdown. Keep it up. Looking forward
to more posts.

well done! &mdash 04/30/05 - 09:33:45 PM
You did a great job with a lot of loops in mixing and
matching them--and getting a great sound out them.

Very cool!

Killer &mdash 05/23/06 - 09:04:28 PM
I just caught this on Virtual Garage and had to pop over to download it.
I'll try to come back and provide better comments once I've had a
chance to listen. On first blush, this not only sounds like an
outstanding production but a damn interesting song as well!

I've listened a couple of times now and have to say this is very well put
together. I'm not familiar with the loops package, so I don't know which synth
parts are programmed and which are loops. All the synths sound great. You
have really nice definition across the EQ spectrum throughout.

There are several passages where I assume you used the midi controller to
apply expression to the synths. These are really great moments and the
music really comes alive when the expression kicks in. Two breaks especially
grabbed my attention: the jazzy piano and the buzzy synth with the wildly
varying cutoff expression.

As a composition this is lively and varied. You have a terrific blend of sounds,
beats, and themes. You rock each section just long enough to get the beat
popping and then introduce a variance or change up. It really keeps the
momentum leaning forward. This is a classic synth composition from top to
bottom!

Very good &mdash 09/02/07 - 03:26:13 AM
Like the sounds and there is a lot of variation in the track. Considering you don't like the genre you make good tracks. I'm impressed.
