Description:
The word "gweilo" means "white devil" and is often used by Chinese to refer to westerners. My wife is Chinese and her family uses the term "fangui", meaning foreigner, but I don't think that term is as widely known.

The Chinese music in this piece has been clipped from an untitled track performed by the Hupeh Opera Troupe Orchestra and laid down over glitch-hop beats (thrown together by me).

It's nearly as strong an epithet as the N word is- the way I
hear it from my Chinese friends.

Really strange little piece. Your levels are too hi- getting
distortion.

The mix is very odd with the distortion. As the piece went
on by the half way point though it started to feel more
cohesive.

the little bell part at the end was a nice contrast to the
boomy rest of the song. would be cool to work it over
more of the song to break it up a bit. man, your artwork
on the last few have been as inspiring as the music itself!

maybe ethnic?

I think the composition has a bit too much distortion (on
purpose maybe?), but overall, this is a musical journey. I
like anytying that tries to explore humans, different
cultures etc. This is great music - very different but
great.

Would you have the time to listen to and like my voice and
choice of lyrics, feel free to discuss a collab at any time...

funny how your tunes always sound just right on my
headphones, and either yourself or others speak of
level distortion.
i've somehow missed the beatz/collab bit- i'm going
to have to scan back because this is a lot of fun and
has that little extra level to it.
