Description
I found this old poem I wrote awhile back and decided to set it to music.

Lyrics
I keep my heart in a ziplock bag
cushioned by styrofoam peanuts
Then I roll it in a dirty ole rag
And hide it in frozen halibuts

Why do I go to so much fuss?
Why bother guarding my heart?
There's really not much to discuss
To me, it's just being smart

No one will steal a frozen lump
Hiding amidst the fish
No one will break my tender pump
Keeping it free from anguish

So heed my words, you silly doof
And guard your heart as well
My whole, frozen heart is the proof
Even if it does sorta smell.

Good going

Your words of wisdom are always appreciated.
The more you share the more people care.
At least sometimes. I like the fact that you are getting
your stuff out. So we can hear. I am not sure about the
smelling part. Good thing there is not "web o smell" :)

I'm glad there's not web-o-smell, too, because who wants to rub halibut on a
song? Thanks for listening, Tiler!

That's far more sensible, though not as off-putting (one of the goals of a
frozen heart!). Thanks for listening, _nder!

and an excellent poem well-delivered. I may contact you

concept...really fun Joanna....you silly doof. I guess I'll

Many people have said that comedy comes from pain. So if it strikes a chord
and still makes you smile, I've done my job! Thank you, FB, for listening!
