I enjoyed this. You might want to use that mandolin(?)
pattern less or add some variation to it, but otherwise this
sounded fine to my ears. I look forward to hearing more
like this.

...really enjoyed it. Don't think the mandolin was to overbearing. As the track builds it sort of melts into the background yet provides continuity to the piece. Terrific voice.

This is an entertaining tune f17.

Very catchy. Another thing, you take chances and that is
what I think is in a brilliant songwriter. That strange
echoey sound is just brilliant to me. That is what I like
about being here at MJ. You can take chances and it 's not
the end of the world.

The song at the base of this is great... the break was
cool, too. The loops were used well, but I felt like
with a little more development the music could have
been a little more unique...hmmm... make more like
this, yes...!

I would say to punch it up with some flashy sounds and it could be a pop smash. Emphasize the feeling of speeding up and down which is done well.

and I love the rythyms in this track.
I know the mandolin is prolly a strange choice to use as a
lead instrument, but you have really used it well.

Nice song overall. Really good soulful singing. The
"wooo!" break is a pleasant surprise; made me smile. I
agree with others that while the mandoline part is nice it
could use some variation. See if you can make a modified
version of the loop to change up the pattern in places.

My only real nit is that there is a lot of mic line noise that
cuts off suddenly at the end. The noise isn't apparent in
the midst of the song but at the end you really hear it and
the suddedn cut-off really draws attention to it. Use the
noise gate on the track and that should solve the problem.
If not, you can at least fade out the vocal track after the
last word to blend it away.

and the wooo was both unexpected and a lot of fun. Very
nicely done!

I love this groove. Excellent lyrics. "Speed up - Slow Down".. that is one great hook. The mandolin throughout is an unexpected delight in such a funky tune. I love the natural sound of it juxtaposed to the other electronic instrumentation. Nice tune! You go, girl! :)
