Description:
I would like to thank Keishi Saito (kcsaito) for his wonderful work on this. Visit Keishi's artist page, http://www.macjams.com/users.php?mode=profile&uid=4783, and click anywhere. You can't miss.
The piece is called Summer Place because the flutes are vaguely reminiscent of Percy Faith's classic 1960s hit, "Theme From 'A Summer Place.'" Keishi's acoustic piano work also seems to be from another era, or maybe, from an era to come.
No loops, except for drums in the middle section.
Prepare to relax.

Spring must be in the air... &mdash 04/18/05 - 03:01:05 PM
What a great collaboration! Two people with such great
ideas coming together like that; very original, very pretty
without being twee. I really like
your dancy chording. It reminds me of the Penguin Cafe
Orchestra. And what a great idea to get kc involved; it
already had a light-headed feel to it, so his piano playing
is perfect. Downloading as we speak... [ Reply to This ]

because it is so clean. A playful, pulsating, rhythmic dance
with strange creatures in the moonlight! [ Reply to This ]
Terrific! &mdash 04/18/05 - 06:08:28 PM
This is really nice and a great example of global
collaboration.
Musically this was very satisfying- perfectly executed,

Terrific! &mdash 04/18/05 - 09:02:43 PM
Thanks Tom & Adam. This is my first collaboration, and the language barrier
made it interesting. But what was most amazing to me was how quickly kc
figured this tune out and made it his own. The reason I asked him to do it is
because I had no idea how to put a lead with this. He's great. [ Reply to This ]
Love the Tones Here &mdash 04/19/05 - 05:05:12 AM
The subtle interplay, the timbres, the mix of relaxed and
slightly edgy, the smooth and the angular. I am left
wanting the next song.
The production is excellent as well.
Bravo to both of you! [ Reply to This ]
nice tune and pic &mdash 04/19/05 - 08:38:21 AM
Thanks for sharing. This seems a little jazzier than what
I've heard you do in the past. I nice style to add to your
collection of styles.

This has a very nice jazzy feel, the piano sounds really
good. A nice piece of music to start the day to...it has a
gentle momentum to it that carries you along. Thanks for
