Lyrics
you, oh god who lives next door
you with well worn hands
if times at night, i trouble you
this is why i stand

i know you're all alone in that room, if you should get thirsty and you need some water
you know i hardly ever hear you, hear you breathin, breathin father.

as it happens, these walls are very thin
i could shout them dow, i could shout them down
as it happens, these walls are built with sin, you could cry them down, you could cry them down,

and
they would fall easily, so very easily
they would fall easily for sure (2x)

but all of my strength is born from this detachment, all of my intelect too.
all of my hapiness clearly, derived from , being alone

i belong to solitude, her head it cradles my soul
and all thats said is nothing new, except when it's said by you.
now i belong to solitude, and she belongs to me, and all thats stored in heavy eyes, is free just to be like it is

you, oh god who lives next door
you with well worn hands
if times at night, i trouble you
this is why i stand
