I'm not a good judge. Some people are really sensitive to
the genre seelction.
I enjoyed this. For some reason, it reminded me of Steely
Dan (Reeling in the Years).
Maybe something in my brain just snapped.

Thanks for commenting mungo...glad you enjoyed it!

It had never occured to me that this tune had any common ground with the SD's 'reelin in the years' but when I listen to my jam now I with your perceptive comment in mind I hear exactly what you mean. As the Dan were (and remain) one of my favourite bands of the 70's I guess some of their influence has seeped out. I named the jam wishbone because it reminded me of some wishbone ash stuff from the 70s...remember them?

...on the guitar. Very tasty. Nice, earthy kind of groove.
The only thing that I don't like is the sound of the
cymbals. They sound very synthetic. The sound lingers
after each hit, and instead of a natural ring kind of sound,
it's more of a hiss. Maybe you can make some
adjustments there. Or maybe I just need new
headphones. Keep on jammin'.

Cheers aquiLa, thanks for posting!
I think the cymbols are part of the percussion loop so I can't isolate them but I might try a different EQ setting to reduce the high end.
