One of your better numbers. Good lyrics and terrific
vocals. Like the guitars but could have lived without the
synths. The synth melodies were good but I thought the
sounds detracted from the general thrust of the song.

Love your voice. Song reminds me of Baby Blue. Sad sack
song with deceptively strong references to "king" and a
wonderful vocals. Something tells me you are king of
more than ink and rain soaked paper, but even that is an

this song is one of those songs you might hear right when
the lead male actor just does something really dumb and
loses the lead female actress in a popular film.
the male actor walks down the boulevard and everything
he sees reminds him of her... soon, he begins to try to win
her back... romantic comedy? maybe.
that's the appeal of this song. it's light, relatable, and easy
on the nerves. well written, composed, and performed.
for me, the song architecture and the lyrics border on they
cliche and i agree with another poster, the synth stuff
always tends to stands out, but none of this hurts the
piece at all. it's strong in a sensitive way, and that's why i

Bordering on the cliches... Ahhh what can I say... I'm a pop music ho! Love
it! And what hasn't been said in pop music could probably fill half of one
page in a really large print that you could see from several miles away.

i first listened to your "lost vegas" and was totally expecting
another song like that. what a change! this song is great!
reminds me of david wilcox. and the production reminds me

Interesting how your voice shines here much more than
on FFFF - not that it sounds bad on that one - it just so
much clearer on this song. I guess it's your production
choices.
Very nice. Strong lyrics. I liked it very much.
Nice synths but ... I listened with headphones on and I
think the synths are a too loud - I can imagine them
starting to annoy after several listens. They came across
to me as a little forced - but only because of the volume.
Just my personal choice.

I think that your producing chops are unparellelled here at MJ... This song is incredible... but it gets taken so much further than most good songs here.... I'd be real supprised if you were a meat salesman or something like that... you are extraordinarilly talented... It's the little touches in this, that put it over the top... perfect percussion work and pacing... and the atherial key sounds that peak in and out...
