I really like it. I'm not very fond of the violins though, but the cello works fine. I'd consider a "brothier" sound to the heavy part. Try fanning the instruments a bit to create a broader sound image. The front guitar is very persistant but the one in the background has the melody. Try to enhance this. The guitars also are very sharp. They would need more bass and mid, but that could be my headphones. The intro feels most finished, i'd also consider coming back to that theme. Either in the middle or at the end. Are you going to add vocals? A very nice piece but it needs a little work. Keep it up, looking forward to the re-make ;-)
