Description:
I Wrote this little "ballad" to my son Elias.
I am not a Piano player so its simple tree finger(craaaamp) chords and the singing could use some more work, but i am a "one take" guy. (lazy)
I now the song is pretty simple but should be fun to get some comments,tips and critic.

This song didnt download so i couldnt find any other way then submited it again to try to get it workin.

Audiophile 2496.
midi keyboard
CAD mic and of course Fender Stratocaster.

Software:
GarageBand.

....simplicity is best. Very nice ballad. The guitar sounds
great when it comes in. Maybe add a little guitar before
the solo. Like the effects on the backing vocals. From one
"one take" guy to another, you did a great job with this.

What is nice about this is that it's about a father's fears -
not just simply how loving he is.
...about not being able to fully understand this person
who's taken over your life. When singing songs about
people close to you it's hard to be honest; I like that in
your song. Musicians are often ashamed to be simple; but
as jgurner says, it's often best.

I really dig the way you sing. Like a Celtic bard throwing
his head back and letting his soul pour out like the
millennia. This song reminds me of those moments
between sets when the main man comes out and sings a
ballad, a rocker spilling his quieter side. A classic. I love
this solid, straightforward, perfectly balanced songwriting.
Great track. Thanks for reposting this so we can download
it now!

Your voice/melodies sound like a cross between Bruce
Springstein and the lead singer of The Flaming Lips. Is
that even possible!? Anyway, what a great heartfelt song!

The song's sincerity is obvious. This is perfect as is. A
great song for all of us parents that have felt these same
emotions but have been unable to convey the words.

Never mind the three fingered piano. It works just fine! Its not how you play, but what comes out that matters. You make music.

Some comments on your voice reminding of someone else...
I hear Jimmy Nail (Crocodile Shoes) in there somewhere.

i loved your I KNOW so much that i had to check out your past postings
too. this is another well-written song! and again, your voice is the
star here! i think it would sound even cooler if you could work more
on the back music a little bit, which sounded a little too flat? sorry....
but i really liked your music and i just hoped that i would get even
better if youd work on it too. vocals are excellent! you got yourself a
new fan, man!

this is a beautiful song, well organized, great vocal delivery, it was very
easy to get into this song, obviously there are some things you could
do to clean it up, but i am a bit of a one take guy too, and sometimes I
think imperfection in music is a good thing, plus this piece was already
terrific, great job
