Description:
This song is called Bitsies Pieces because I always make bits and pieces and NEVER finish anything !

Edhara added an incredible saxophone track to this "half-of-a-song" and really brought it to life. Hope you'all like it, and if you do drop a comment and let Ed know.

Wow! this is fantastic! I was a little distracted by the guitar
being all the way left but the incredible playing overrode
that feeling quickly. Nice work!

Safe Sax! &mdash 05/08/05 - 10:57:55 AM
Thank You AC, I never even realized that that guitar track was all left, LOL. I do agree that it is a little annoying and should be more balanced.

That AMAZING sax is Macjams member "edhara" and he sure has a special
way of expressing emotion through that instrument !

Yep, incredible sax. &mdash 05/11/05 - 11:12:39 PM
It goes well with the synth sounds. I agree about the mix but that can be easily fixed. Nice collaboration (and great dog!).

Much appreciated, everyone. &mdash 05/13/05 - 07:59:31 AM
Thanks so much for the kind comments!

Between working my day gig as a network geek, my side
job playing sax professionally, and managing a family life,
I don't usually get much opportunity to do this kind of
thing.

My old G3 ibook died and it kept me from doing any
collaboration for a while... after a few months, I got fed
up, went out and bought a new mini. It just happened
that I was sitting around one Sunday looking around for a
cool bed, and came across this one by swanny. Ran it
through a couple of takes and in spite of my pitch
problems (I have a tendency to run sharp) decided to just
keep the second one.

I wish I could get a much fuller sound on my setup like
I.G. does... he has a great tone on his tenor. I currently
just use a Shure SM57 to record with.

Anyway, I'm rambling... too early in the morning for me to
be posting, but thanks again, everyone. I really appreciate
it.

:-)

Very good indeed! &mdash 06/05/05 - 08:03:54 PM
Rushed over to hear your stuff. Wow, really nice guitar but
that piano at the start hooked me. Yummy.

And if there is a future for finishing this... by all means,
do so.

Great stuff. *****
