We're pretty happy with the sound quality that we get from the Fender
acoustic - I think the 12-string sound that you're hearing is actually our
technique for recording it: We use both a line-in and a live mic for the
recording, which provids two entirely different qualities for the same track.

After that, during mixdown, we typically pan one left and the other right.

Pretty dang effective, in my estimation.
