Lyrics
6-4-3

Nobody can find me,
I'm hidden away
No one to remind me,
That I'm on display
I'm sittin' here wondrin',
What this is about
But I'll keep myself out of
The range of a shout.

Then the king of all the gambles
Did yell and scream for more
Oblivious of outcasts
Condemned with keeping score.

Livin' life in a glass house,
People see what you do
And I've lived a whole lifetime
In the last year or two
But without all the mood pills
We'd be at a loss
I've rolled like a stone but
Still gathered the moss.

Then the king let loose his thunder on
Those not in uniform
They'd dared invade his sanctum
And refused to conform.

"Hey, why don't we fight them?"
Said the rogue on his right.
"We'll do it to spite them,"
His face beaming bright
But the youth on the far deck,
His face showing fear,
Withdrew and looked groundward
With the king drawing near.

Then the strongest one of all them
Forced the king to play his hand
The king was soon relieved of
The hated contraband

Look to age for its wisdom
And for spirit from youth
And the whys and wherefores
Slowly drift from the truth
Then sitting in silence,
His position secure
He knew in his own mind
He'd soon call them sir.

Then the court laid down its judgment
Backed by my doubtful oath
I gave my last direction
Dissolve and lose them both . . .

Nobody can find me. . .

Cool tune
Nice playing throughout, I like the "I've lived a life-time in the last year or two" I'd like to see the lyrics so I read along while I listen. Good tune, Thanks!

Cool tune
Alley — thanks a million. And the lyrics should be there shortly (assuming I
didn't screw it up, which is always a possibility). Thanks again.

Cool vocal sound
I like how you sing... you've got your own sound and
that is cool. Another good song with a bit of
retro feel to it and a slight Canadian touch.

Cool vocal sound
Being Canajun for you, eh? And thanks for the comments. My mom was fond
of saying "You're the guy Thoreau was talking about with the different
drummer thing."

Hadn't really thought about that but now that you bring it up, yeah. And
that's pretty cool. Thanks Ali.

NIce work
I like your simple vocal style but it must be said that this
is sooooo close to a Moody Blues cover tune. :)
thanks for sharing

Them — interesting comment. Did the Blues do this tune somewhere? I'd love
to hear that. Or did you mean it sounds like another MB tune? If so, I'd also
love to hear that one. You know, I've never really listened to the Blues in a big
way (excepting The Story in Your Eyes and maybe I'm Just the Singer in a Rock
'n' Roll Band) but seem to be drawing a lot of comparisons from MJers. Cool
to find out one has influences they never realized. Thanks.

Nice Lyrics
Really liked this one. Your voice is so relaxed and in the
groove, you make it sound too easy. Cool song, good
lyrics.

Nice Lyrics
Thanks Bronc. Sometimes, the lyrics just flow out. Doesn't happen that often,
but it did on this one.
