Description
Inspired after a night of Joe Satriani at the Fillmore in SF. I came home late...late...I mean REALLY late, and immediately started working on this tune. Once I got the sound of the Sim'd guitars down in GB I just started playing. I think the whole thing took me about 2 hours...then I passed out.

12 Tracks, of which 9 (5 guitar/synth-ish, 3 percussion and the bass track) were played live (no loops). Modified percussion loops are contained on the remaining 3 tracks. Everything was played on an M Audio keyboard.

Thanks RS...took me awhile to get the sound down on that guitar...but I'm pretty
happy with it. A little on the lit up side I suppose...but hey, that's what goes on
inside this ol' head of mine.

Thansk for the post RS.

Blaine's got tricks
Really neat trick with the synth siming guitar. I was
listening for the simulation and it still messed with my
head.. Really cool Did a great job capturing the guitar and
even a bit of Satch's style.

Thanks FE...

funny, I made it and it messes with my head. Thing is, I know damn
well I can't play the strings like that...but I loved conjouring up those sim'd ones
just the same.

That pretty much nails it. A cacophony of sound, definitely an inspired moment. I know it's a little wild...but surfing with the alien will do that to ya!
