I disagree with cjhoose about the fancy synths. I think all
this 'sparse, electronic, uplifting' song needs is a slightly
better recording of the vocals. Unless you want the hiss
(for some kind of added rawness, or a reminder that this
is a recording??), I would try to eliminate or minimize the
room noise. I think if those vocals came in spotlessly this
would be perfect. Pretty good as it is.

I love it the way it is. Simple, appropriate to the concept as I
understand it. A song doesn't have to consist of much to be
good.
