Just what I've been waiting for, another excellent song by
jshultz76. It's always a pleasure listenig to your music, and
this is no exception. Beautiful sound. Wasn't too fond of the
way the cellos on the right were sort of jabbed early on;
wanted them to sustain. But then, as it progressed and built
up more it seemed to feel right.

Great lyrics. Words that make people re-evaluate their lives.
Why only post those four lines?

thanks so much! i didn't post any other lyrics because i thought everyone would understand them easily. but the chorus seemed harder to understand.

Sign of the times &mdash 05/10/05 - 01:57:16 PM
Welcome to the virtual village.

I was raised on Star Trek and Gilligan's Island. Who were
your influences?

Nicely presented.

i was raised on whatever was on tv from the time i got home from school until the time i went to bed. occasionally i'd take a half hour break and play the drums. but other than that, i was stuck to the couch.

i pray to lizzie mcguire...how about you? &mdash 05/10/05 - 10:21:52 PM
you know what would make this song really great...a slide show displaying all the destructive influences t.v. creates hmmm bet you haven't thought of that one :) too bad you can't add that to the page, then i'd really give you a high vote. it sounds great john, but i have to say i'm not surprised. the new guitar sounds so clear...so much better than the ovation. thanks slc guitar company for giving john the acoustic sound he's always been looking for. i love it. and if you were on t.v. i'd probably pray to you.

praying groupies? hmmm, i never thought of that, but now that you mention
it, i have a new goal to work for. these non-praying groupies... i just don't know
if their heart is into it.

...throw back and sideways... &mdash 05/11/05 - 12:06:38 AM
This reminds me of a song Roy Orbison would have
written if he was writing tunes in this day and age...
Great tone and feel. Emotional with out being
saccharine...
...long blues and greys...

Holy song, Batman! &mdash 05/11/05 - 04:45:55 AM
Holy pilgrimages to Fantasy Island. Addictions to cable
news. Bart Simpson is my savior. Kirk is the greatest hero
in all history. Sex is better by the blue light of the tube.

Solid! &mdash 05/11/05 - 08:59:51 AM
I liked this a lot. I could almost hear an alternate version done as hardcore punk. the lyrics have that sort of spirit to them.

I truly liked this, though.

Just saw you online and thought I'd see what you do. Loved this song - nicely played, great vocal and words and clean production. Look forward to more.
