Description
So, David Homan, a classical composer, is actually my brother, and he wanted me to turn his Melancholy Dance into a rock song, this is my first attempt, he talked to me about the mood of the piece, said it was sort of an adventure music, dramatic song about unrequited love, so first try, who knows?

--Dave, I know the guitars sound like top gun, just wait till the viola or cello synths come in!

interesting
It's an interesting blend of harsh electric guitar sounds and soft piano. I dig!

harshness
haha, thanks. If you listen to the original classical piece, I think you'll find the comparison interesting, because the cello/piano is incredibly smooth. For this first take on it, though, I wanted it to sound a bit more vicious/melodramatic/angry. Thanks for listening

Good job getting across the lonely feel in this song. Not such a fan of the guitars in the beginning. I realize that they are supposed to sound harsh but they also sound TOO empty.
