Description
This is a new mix of I Believe originally posted here.
http://www.macjams.com/song/song_profile.php?lid=9222

we were overwhelmed with the response this song originally recieved. Thanks to all who checked it out. we thought we'd post a new mix of this. this is cleaner, less cluttered, took out somethings, added some things, but overall i think sonically stronger. but let us know what you think!

Lyrics
chorus:
sometime i'd like to talk to god
to try and see his face
cuz i wonder if he sees his face in mine
and i hope that i am here to make this world a better place
cuz i believe that we are so much more
than just the human race
i believe it
i believe it
i believe we can be so much

Too good to improve
Great track. The rap lead is clearer, easier to
understand. Other than that, I like the old track better,
but then I thought the other version was perfect. This
track is slightly softer, not as warm sounding. It
seems like the child sounds are over-used this time
around. I miss some of the other sounds, it made it more
alive, more cross-genre, more a community melting pot.
The female vocals sound more like a pop track this time,
less light classical, if that makes sense. Don't know what
you did. I went back to relisten to the old one and still
think it is a more amazing track.

Diverse
It's a cool song... I've listened to both and have liked them
each in different ways. Forget what others may say, there
is a place for songs of positivity in this day and age.
Maybe it's what we need more of to help prevent us from
becoming jaded and cold. At any rate, I appreciate the
high quality music you are posting... of any genre!

Chills, man!
I got chills listening to this, and it's not even my genre! I
like the positive message, and I really liked the child/adult
sound early in the mix.

Impressed
I didn't hear the original, but this is good. I'm impressed
because I don't usually listen to a whole song. You sound
great.

Excellent
Sorry I missed this earlier.
The performances, arrangement and mix are top-notch.
The song is inspired.

be proud
really something good. i'm not totally into the message but the passion
you deliver it with is catching.
the only thing i'm not personally mad keen on is the change of beat at the
beginning of the chorus - it loses the flow built up until that point.

But this is cool though.

Grest track
I think this is an awesome track, I enjoy finding a rap song with a positive message, and not the same old slangin drugs and killin people(even though I like hose ones to) But this one has exelent backround sounds, fades and beats.....All around and awesome track

Sage Francis meets MLK jr.?
I must admit that this isn't entirely my style, but it is a nicely done track.

I like my politics on fire, I suppose, but this is a pretty fine rap.
