Revised with panpipe as the solo instrument. I am conflicted between which instrument I should go with... panpipe or whistle?

If forced to choose, I'd pick this one. Not just because I
think it sounds more expressive, but also because I
personally like the sound of the panpipes over the flute
(OK - I'm admitting to a bias).
