Simig Media Records Launches Tobin Mueller's "13 Masks"

We are pleased to announce the latest release from Simig Media Records: Tobin Mueller's second solo piano masterpiece, "13 Masks."

13 MASKS is an interweaving of jazz, avant-garde classical, and what Tobin has dubbed "Progressive Ragtime" solo piano. Blending each style through the "chaos of his subconscious," Mueller has created compelling and often startling musical stories. This collection is a whimsical departure from his earlier romantic and healing work, Morning Whispers.

Mueller attaches one of 13 masks to each song, images that are fanciful, haunting, nightmarish, surreal. He creates music to match, emphasizing sly humor and surprise, intelligence and innovation. The results are breakthrough compositions combined with clean, intimate playing.

13 Masks is available immediatley, and for those who are looking to acquire the entire Tobin Mueller catalog on Simig Media records, a special combined price for both albums is being offered. Finally, supporters of MacJams will be pleased to know that Tobin has graciously offered to provide all proceed on his albums purchased from Simig Media, through August 31, to the development of MacJams.com. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements from MacJams and Simig Media!
