After many crazy years as a starving artist, followed by many bland years as a well-paid programmer, I'm finally hoping for a sweet spot. GarageBand has replaced my dusty rack of analog equipment and I'm recording up a storm. Hopefully a storm that sounds good.

Music Background Learned rock-n-roll drums around age 12 and played in my church for years. Eventually learned keys, guitar, and bass when I made the transition to recording and playing in bands around the Boston area. I did pop, rock, rap, and even Irish folk music during those years. Had a lot of fun and made very little money. Took a decade off to be a programmer and get paid, but I'm back to music now and loving it.
Music Skills I probably play more guitar than anything else these days, but I do play keyboards, bass, and drums too. I sing as well as I can, and hope to improve. I actually think my strongest points are in songwriting, arranging, and production.
