Bio:
I've been playing guitar and singing for a long time, am currently trying to learn to play the piano - properly - and have dabbled around for years with music software such as Cubase and Reason, never to any great effect. But now that I've got more spare time I'm determined to get to know Garage Band much better, and try to knock out something like decent stuff.

It's been good to find the MacJams site to see that the software is taken seriously.

NEXT BIT WRITTEN AFTER SPENDING MY FIRST HOUR LOOKING AND LISTENING AROUND MacJams:

Oh my goodness, I may be in the wrong place - there are some incredible musicians around here. I'm just not worthy..... Is there a beginner's area to go to?????
