Multi-award winning, grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Rebecca Dru, has received rave reviews worldwide. Ann Oldenberg of USA TODAY said...Anyone who listens will fall under the spell of Rebecca Dru's rich vocals and dreamy lyrics...USA TODAY called WICHITA (Heart of the USA) "a catchy tune!"

Rebecca Dru, singer/songwriter, is the solo vocalist on REBECCA DRU.... NIGHT SONGS & REBECCA DRU....CANTI NOTTURNI as well as co-composer. She self-produced her recent CD, the instrumental VOICES FROM WITHIN .

REBECCA DRU is very excited about the rerelease of her CD, HEART of the USA which now has an additional four songs added for your enjoyment! WICHITA (Heart of the USA) was originally written with Larry Caldwell for the Wichita, Kansas Song Contest. The song was picked up various TV Stations and by every country radio station in Kansas and traveling onto the Midwest, South and even Korea. Rebecca Dru was invited to play with Larry Caldwell at the Arkansas River Festival along side Randy Travis and Kathy Mattea. REBECCA DRU...HEART of the USA is a collection beautiful melodic Country Pop songs that will capture your heart.

VOICES FROM WITHIN is a collection of original instrumental music with some classical, latin and jazz influences. It began as the soundtrack for a very wild Italian documentary but soon grew as a self-produced venture into emotions; listening to the many voices we carry inside ourselves. They're composed and performed by multi-award winning vocalist/ songwriter/composer, Rebecca Dru. VOICES FROM WITHIN will sooth you...will romance you and is the perfect music to listen to before, during or after a busy day.

Music Background Mom was an opera singer...grew up sitting on Boston Opera Company Director, Sarah Caldwell's lap while she conducted her productions. There were 7 kids in my family so we all had to play two intruments (one, being, piano) by the time we were seven years old. Started Piano at 2 years, played drums/percussion in orchestras, played flute for 7 years (was great but hated it..couldn't quit in my family..had to be the best you could be) then switched to French Horn and LOVED it. Within a year of picking it up, I was getting into any orchestra for which I auditioned usually playing 3rd of 4th horn. I went to music camp in Maine in the summers and studied lots of Bach on the 32 peddle organ (my favorite instrument of all time). I loved walking out on stage...removing my shoes and then having a party while I played....and through all this, sang for fun...until I was older and started singing professionally.
