Cakewalk had to be one of the first DAW's I've used. I downloaded the new demo and really wanted it to work. I guess Apple has the patent on ease of use that allows artist to focus more on their ideas rather than tinkering around with a program, trying to figure out how to download instruments and effects and then searching for them somewhere in a track they've created.

I also find the lack of ease in some other DAW's and plugins that tether my machine to some off site server or use a dongle or iLok system with a plethora of licenses to deal with. I know, these guys have been cracked and I feel for them but I would rather not have to suffer the consequences.
