Just my take, but it is pure opinion.
Great use of panning in the beginning.

For improvement purposes, I would say focus on your drum tracks, and particularly the kick drum. I understand that you are going after that hot sound bass drum sound, but you seem to be going just over the clipping mark. More controlled bass will actually sound better, than really hard clipped kick drums. Your other drum sounds seem to be fine, snare, toms, and other aux percussion that is in your choice of loops, but that kick drum just sticks way out over the top.

I struggle with this also in my own work, and drums are the hardest tracks to get just where you want them. Try using compression if you have not already, and if you have, then use some gate. Also try the EQ settings, ie drum refresh. I always turn the drum tracks down more than I have to turn down the other tracks. For some reason, they are just louder to begin with.

There are moments when the driving kick drum ceases, and there isn't any clipping then. All sounds really nice, to my ear, at that point, but then the clipped drum returns.

I have also had some luck in controlling my drum sound, as to achieve a heavy driving feel, without clipping, with the overdrive setting. Preset #2 seems to work nice, but you can mess with the manual adjustments till you get what you want.

I am no expert on this matter of drum pickup. I am beginning to think that this is perhaps the hardest part in recording.

I think that the proper mix of EQ, compression, overdrive, and perhaps even the au peak limiter, coupled along with the right master mix down effect, ie: rock basic, club chaos, is part of the answer. But there is not right or wrong with art, so perhaps you prefer the drum sound that you have achieved.

All the rest of the piece, nice grooving sound. I like the contrasting sections when the kick drum drops out for a bit. Variety.........? I think you could use a little more, but only if you want to make this one better. And that is only better to my ear, which again goes back to that topic about how art is subjective.

Thanks for sharing.

Beats galore
What happened to the G5? Groovy beats throughout. That
change up is a nicely added touch (2/3 way through). Cool
as usual from the Doofman!

Beats galore
Thanks, Ronnie, Dadai, and Alimar!!

This was just me having some fun with the new on-call cell phone we got at work a few months ago. I had started to make a tune using my laptop and I finally decided to work on it a few days ago. That's why it mentions G4, not G5.
The phone, itself, is made by Sanyo, but the service is Sprint PCS - Peculiar Composing Source. ;)---
I said don't disturb me when I'm cleaning my room.

Unique Style
Deffinately an original cross between tech and house... I like
it! The only suggestion that I would make would be just
bring your perc. down a few notches to even out the sound,
otherwise... unique is good... keep it up!

Nice 1 bruva, nice 1.
So you realy made this on a phone and a powerbook, that
rocks.
Me being a simple tin from tha country that jus blows my
mind, I mean I was amazed at what my little PB G4 could
do, but a phone that you can make a track like that on
rocks big time.
