Description
Okay, I know this cut needs something, but I don't want to get stagnant. I want to move on and try putting together another. But I want your feedback because that's how I learn. You'll notice the strategy I used/learned in this one is to repeat regions to move the piece forward.

Groovin
I like the bass after the drums drop and then come back; the first bassline is ok, but a little repetitive. Dropping the drums for a few bars here and there does help. Laying a melody on top of the groove will give it more character. It doesn't sound like a dead end so much as a beginning; you can definitely build from this.

Cool.
Sorta reminded me of Wagon Christ. Good job.

Cool.
Glorious, I never heard of Wagon Christ, so I checked them out at iTunes, and
in sampling them, I was wishing I could get some lyrics/vocals into this cut. I
think it would enhance it greatly. Thanks for your response.

City in the Summer
This makes me think of a city on a hot day, children running through opened hydrants, people licking the ice cream drippng down their arms, fans running, everyone laughing, talking, cheering.

I think it would be interesting to have sounds rather than vocals running through the song. Fans whirring, water splashing, children squealing, car horns beeping, that kind of thing.

Lots of fun.

Another cool groove
Lots of cool stuff going on here. I love those bass lines mixed in with the keys.

it's always interesting to see how someone else takes the samples in another direction!
