Damn that's a voice.
This does it for me.
Lights all kind of candles and a few bonfires.
Love the guitars - what are you using?

Hi Andy. Glad you like it. It's a Fender Strat but using a mic'd up cab rather than DI'ing. I'm not a 100% on the jingly jangly guitars alas as they brought with it a lot of room ambience and it's hell trying to clean it all up :( I recently bought a Vox Tonelab to negate this and will re-record the guitars again. Stay tuned I guess :)
Cheers
Phil

Interesting chords
What tuning are you using? It seems to me like standard
tuning would be a little difficult, but then I don't have long
fingers.

The guitar is cool, but it obscures the vocals and the
guitar solo a little. Maybe take it down a little when
featuring the other parts.

***Hi. Spot on, normal tuning but up and down the neck to achieve open tuning sound :) As I said to Andy, I'll be re-doing the guitars at some point. Hope to post it soon..........

Nice start!
Like the tune Lute - I'm a bit of a jangly guitar fan! I
agree that the guitars could perhaps drop down a bit in
the mix though to give your voice and the solo some
space. Is that a bass guitar or something else - sounds a
bit too clean for the rest of the song.
Love the song tho - look forward to hearing more.

***Hiya Jiguma. This is remix weekend for a few of my tunes. Guitar issue will be addressed. It is a bass but with a particularly melodic pattern, a verse in itself :)
Thanks for listening.

Nice guitar work! Good repetitive pattern with nice solo on
top.

Your voice has a deep quality which is interesting, too. I
agree that it would be cool to have it more prominently in
the mix.

People usually like to read posted lyrics without having to
ask, it often helps song ratings because of increased
understanding of the tune.

It's also nice to know what hardware and software you use
on your songs.

Welcome to MacJams and have FUN!

***Hey Cameron. Thanks for the listen. The setup is; Cubase SX, Fender Strat, mic'd guitars apart from the solo (Vox Tonelab), tweaked in Wavelab :)
Lyrics (don't usually post these due to vast amounts of rambling :)). However.....
Where's the cure for heartache in this panacaic world?
Love is very matter of fact, an old 4-letter word.
Why should she latch onto me then drop me like a stone?
Tell me Cupid, do you know, where the love has gone?

I am Cupid, I am blind but I can see the light.
You were meant to fall in love but maybe not at sight.
You pre-empted your own fate and all you got was lost.
Sacrificed a loving heart and now you count the cost.

Cheers
Phil

Hey Lute,
this is a nice song, like the guitar sound, maybe
a little too loud in the mix.
Nice vibe and cool vocals.
Likes it.

Hey, the beginning sounds just like the Byrds....

Nice tune. The balance is a bit off: the rhythm guitar overpowers the vocals and solo guitar.
