Stars upstairs

Did you look at the stars last night
Because I was up there
And was looking at you
I kept blinking with all my might
But you had a lover
The time I got to you

Then when you switched off the lights
For a while I was there
And I really missed you
I changed sides to see the sights
But I found them nowhere
As beautiful as you…

Haunting and Beautiful
I've decided that this is my favorite of the Hamlet Machine songs. Dark
and eerie intro disrupted by the blast of drums and that delicious guitar
noise. Vocals jump right in and dance around with a unique time
signature that compliments the drums. Nice variety of sounds, levels and
a good balance of melodies and noise. Really think the layers of guitars
and effects are beautiful and somewhat frightening.
