the moon and the sun

Get Flash to see this player.

This morning: happy-happy. It was a a large moon on the sky last night and it made me think. I often look up in the sky and think.

I play all instruments (except the intro organ which are some loops), even play the drums from my keyboard...

Hope you'll enjoy.

[ the moon and the sun ]

under the moon there's moon people
and they're laughing
drinking moon drinks, playing songs
and dancing

love is under the moon tonight
moon is such a magic light

real people are moon lovers
dancing and waiting for the sun

under the sun there's sun people
and they're dancing
eating sun meals, because the sun heals
it's magic

love is under the sun tonight
sun is such a magic light

love the chorus
Very infectious.
Reminds me of Belle and Sabastian.
Playing is very tight too.
Nice work.

Beautiful moon
The last couple of night my wife and I have sat out and
watched the moon from our back yard, at least until the
mosquitoes had been adequately fed. I love the bouncy 60s
pop feel of this one. Love the lyrics, especially the chorus. It's
quite catchy. The fact that you created your drum track from
the keyboard gives me hope. I'm still working on that.
Percussion is for me the hardest thing to come up with

I'm really enjoying the creative roll you are on right now.

Comments to all of you and a large THANK YOU
wurlygig> Thanks. I have only heard bits and parts from
Belle and Sebastian, but what I've heard is very good.

_nderscore> I agree. It seems like there's a new
movement going on (or an old one picking up, or a
combo)... If you ask me, I think this is good, because we
all need a bit of love in our life. Music can be a provider
of such thing.

Wounded> I didn't have a specific band in mind when
doing the song, more a feeling that has been going on for
quite some time now. The Doors is always an honor to be
compared with however!

JOAN> I agree completely! When there's so much
happiness going on, you almost want to take care of it,
nurture it and make something out if it, share it with
others... I am not a PA head, at least I don't have the PA
experience, I know of people that has and knows however.
I have penty of experience putting together festivals
however... I'll be in touch!!! Peace!

jgurner> Yeah, it's not that difficult to do it from the
keyboard itself and actually gives you the capability of
doing different tracks, for example a snare drum in
different volume levels to sound more authentic. If you
don't hit it exactly right, use the pen tool and adjust. I
think a real drummer would be awesome, but since I don't
have one I can only do my best without one... :)

The moon is beautiful. Anyone that can sit out in the
night looking at it is a true dreamer and lover of love!
